Reyna Rivero Bacallao

She holds an MA in Curriculum and Pedagogy, from the Northeast Normal University (NENU) in China (July 2024). She holds a postgraduate degree in Higher Education Didactics from the Enrique José Varona University of Pedagogical Sciences (2020), as well as a BA in Psychopedagogy from the same institution (2018). She has eight years of experience in teaching, research methods, communication, psychopedagogy, and in general, in the field of educational sciences. Her professional performance has included diagnostic personality assessment; design of educational strategies; orientation sessions and workshops for students; and methodological advice for teachers. As a result of her academic training and work experience, she has been able to conduct research on values among Cuban adolescents and youth, and on the online learning effectiveness during the COVID-19 pandemic in Cuba, topics related to communication, gender, violence, educational and community guidance, among others. She is fluent in English and has basic knowledge of Mandarin Chinese and Chinese culture. She currently works as community manager at the IRIS Climate Foundation, where she also heads a community project with a circular economy approach.
