
The IRIS Climate Foundation, United for Climate, as the National Executing Agency of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), is seeking professionals to join our administrative and financial team and contribute to the management of environmental, climate, and sustainable development initiatives.
Vacation Positions
• Legal Advisory Manager
o Knowledge of environmental, corporate, or international law.
o Knowledge of Cuban and international environmental legal instruments.
o Experience in structuring contracts, collaboration agreements, and legal compliance policies.
o Mediate and negotiate with government entities, international organizations, and strategic partners.
o Manage national and international regulations on transparency, financing, and legal management of environmental projects and services.
• Director of the Administrative Body
o Design and execute administrative strategies.
o Knowledge of procurement processes.
o Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to optimize project and service management.
Oversee the implementation of internal policies and procedures.
• Logistics Assistant
Organize and manage logistical activities related to the implementation and monitoring of projects and services.
Ensure the organization of events, meetings, and support activities.
Facilitate communication between different areas of the Foundation.
• Financial and Economic Manager
Oversee the planning, execution, and financial control of projects and services.
Prepare, manage, and monitor budgets.
Implement strategies to ensure the economic viability of initiatives.
• Accounting and Financial Manager
Manage budgets and ensure the efficient use of resources.
Record financial accounting transactions and prepare accounting files and reconciliations;
Prepare financial reports, present balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for strategic decision-making.
Knowledge of the different accounting subsystems, primarily general accounting;
o Mastery of accounting software such as Versat Sarasola, Rodas XXI, or similar software certified by Cuba.
Candidate Profile
Professionals with solid experience in administrative and financial management. The following aspects will be valued:
• Degree and proven experience in their area of expertise.
• Demonstrated skills in project and service management.
• Ability to work in a team and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in foreign trade or in managing international cooperation projects and services with the United Nations agency system.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage resources, coordinate teams, and contribute to the success of the IRIS Climate Foundation's mission in the national and international context.
